Challenge
FSD Fahrzeugsystemdaten GmbH had a unique challenge to overcome. They needed a cross-platform app that would be used daily as a working tool by more than 20,000 experts and inspectors in Germany. The app needed to run on different platforms while allowing seamless integration of the backend.
The real challenge was to ensure that the app offered high usability and performance as it is used by a large number of users in a business-critical environment. In addition, the data processed in the app had to be of the highest accuracy and relevance, as it comes from the FSD - Central Service, which provides specifications and test procedures for more than 100 million vehicles of almost all relevant models, manufacturers and vehicle types, such as cars, trucks, buses, trailers and motorcycles.
Solution
FSD Fahrzeugsystemdaten GmbH turned to Develappers GmbH, an experienced software development team.Together, they developed a comprehensive solution that overcame the challenges of the project.
The solution consisted of developing a cross-platform app using .NET MAUI that works flawlessly on different mobile operating systems. The app was designed to optimize the work processes of appraisers and inspectors and enable seamless interaction with the backend.
The backend was developed based on ASP.NET Core and Blazor to ensure powerful and scalable processing of the data provided by the FSD - Central Office. Careful integration has been created to ensure that the data is always up-to-date and reliable.
